About Christian Education

The Christian Education department is entrusted with edifying the congregation in the Word of God. Otherwise called the Sunday school, this department caters for saints of all ages. The classes are structured according to ages and qualified teachers are given the opportunity to instruct the pupils in the ways of righteousness by applying the Word of God, the Bible.

Each class provides exciting and stimulating lessons tailor made to the needs of the students and is an appetizer before the main course which is usually serve up in the main service which follows. These classes are a great investment in the education and social development and last for an hour each Sunday morning.

The classes, for age 2 and upward, are instructive, stimulating and fun! While providing a sound Christian education these classes will also: " Develop reading, research and writing skills " Build confidence and self esteem " Teach manners and respect for others " Provide training in public speaking " Encourage lifelong learning

The department is under the diligent care of Minister Peter Gordon and is staffed by saints from the Triumphant Church of Jesus Christ. The Christian Education Department oversees the Bus Ministry and works along with the Youth Department to organize and support the Kids' Night Out and the Summer Picnic to a picturesque spot every year.

The highlight of the department is found in the yearly graduation exercise and end of year program. During this event students change classes and are given the opportunity to perform plays, poetry and songs.
